2014.01.11 Hope Town...

Neatly installed on a saturday...perfect fit...and working beautifully, now we can be on our way

We were very lucky and had a weather window right after that...so a whole fleet (I counted 23 on the VHF) sailed out of Lake Worth inlet on december 30th at 0400...we had a very uneventful crossing and arrived in Great Sale at 2000 after dark again and anchored for the night...at twilight the next morning we set sail for Green Turtle Cay...had a surprisingly bumpy ride but arrived just in time to celebrate new year's eve with our GTC friends... I must admit that I was in bed by 2030 after 2 long traveling days and David was not far behind.

We were there also just in time for Junkanoo on Green Turtle Cay...

Much better...just don't look at the camera!!!

Soli having a well deserved rest at LYC in GTC
A stike coming up Kathy...

Then we had a window to go around the Whale to make it in time for our stand-up...
Jacqueline came to check up on my cooking...
Award winning Cruising chairman Heinz ....Dave is trying to look at Carol and I!
Kim and Loraine...House Committee
Caroline, Jacqueline and TCO Carol...all done!!!
